Fired Art

In the 1990’s all the rage in kitchen and baths, were hand painted ceramic tiles.
Kitchen backsplashes, bathroom decorated tiles and sinks were the hottest items to acquire for home renovators.
Our signature painting style has been compared to a renaissance atelier with an emphasis on detail and perspective.
Our studio’s work for kitchens, baths, swimming pools, floors and fire places have been published in major interior design and trade magazines.
Unfortunately, like any fashion trend, the demand for those items waned and the market leaned towards neutral and non-decorated surfaces.
Our studio branched to other fired decorated items such as dinner ware, hand painted bathroom accessories, stem ware and serving dishes.
My portfolio represents a variety of projects that the studio accomplished throughout the years.
If it can be fired in the kiln, it can be done.
